iPhone Accessories

iPhone's recent announcement of accessories that can be used along with iPhone has really got me thinking.

Of special interest was a OBD (On board diagnostics) that can be hooked into the iPhone. I googled around and found that OBD is not prevalent in India but all cars in US since 1996 ship this.

I would really love an advanced OBD in India as that will really tell me for sure what is wrong with my car without having to depend on crafty car mechanics to tell me something is wrong and fleece me for it.

Kind of reminds me of self healing and diagnostic systems that we are so used to in the distributed computing world.
